August has been one of the more challenging months I’ve had this year. Between home renovations, Brutus’ health scare, and navigating some unexpected shifts in my business, it's been a whirlwind. Yet, despite all of these challenges, I’m feeling incredibly grateful and proud of what I was able to accomplish personally and professionally. 💕
Here are some of the highlights that made August a month to remember:
✨ Brutus is Cancer-Free!
Our beloved Brutus had to undergo surgery to remove his cancerous tumors, and I’m beyond thrilled to share that the surgery was a success. He’s now officially cancer-free! It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, but seeing him happy and healthy again has been the greatest gift. 😻
✨ Home Sweet Home
After a summer of construction chaos, I finally got to move back into my home. There's nothing like that first night back in your own space, soaking in all the comfort and familiarity. I’m so thankful to be back and to start fresh in a newly renovated space.
✨ A Day with the Pandas
One of my favorite memories this month was visiting the new pandas at the San Diego Zoo with my Mom & Trevor. It was such a special day filled with laughter, awe, and a deep appreciation for these incredible creatures and their companions, the Red Pandas! 🐼
✨ Restocking My California Vendors
August was busy on the business front too! I managed to restock all of my California vendors, including Open Market OC in Mission Valley, San Clemente, and Huntington Beach, our retreat partner SoCal Wellness Retreats and Bazaar Del Mundo. Keeping the shelves full and my customers happy is always a rewarding part of what I do!
✨ New Book Offerings
I also made time to expand our book offerings this month. We’ve added some beautiful new titles, including a gratitude journal and a manifestation book, that I can’t wait for you to explore. These books are perfect tools for anyone looking to dive deeper into self-reflection and manifest their dreams.
✨ Ash's Amazing Progress
My intern, Ash, has officially shifted into his full academic internship, and he’s doing such an incredible job. Watching him grow and flourish has been so rewarding, and I’m excited to see all the amazing things he’ll accomplish!
✨ Cherishing Time with Friends
Amidst the chaos, I made sure to carve out time with friends and family. Their company brought so much joy and laughter into my life this month, and I am so grateful for our shared moments. 🥰
✨ Another Beautiful Month in San Diego
And lastly, I had the privilege of living another month in sunny San Diego. Every day here feels like a blessing with the beautiful weather, the vibrant community, and the sense of peace that comes with being in a place that feels like home. ☀️🙏
Reflecting on these moments fills me with immense gratitude. Even during the hard times, there’s always something to be thankful for, and August was no exception.
